Oh! Boy another sad day. My wife (Durga) has been rejected for US visa again. It’s been a 4th time she tried to get visa. We have all necessary documents, in fact have strong documents but they keep rejecting her. We provided documents like assistantship letter, $20,000 plus bank balance letter form US bank, nearly $100,000 fix property in Nepal.
I got surprise, what kind of document those guys of American embassy want?
Any ways, for the time being, we have to live thousand miles apart. I am thinking, what should I do next? Should I give up everything in USA? And return to Nepal and find some job or start some kind of business. Actually, I was dreaming always of starting farming in my home village and involved in social service. I could serve my people some how in a different way. I may try different options like applying PR in Canada, which will take at least one year to finalize. And this is not a bad idea at all. I may also try to find some job in USA and secure work permit (H1B visa). If either options work she can come with me and we will be able to live together.
I have one more option that is to get PhD. They won’t probably reject her, if I get admission in PhD. I am brainstorming so much since yester night and could not find right idea. Hope the problem will be solved very soon. A part of my heart tells me, there could be much good things to happen that’s why they are rejecting dependent visa to her. If so, this desperation and tension would be worthwhile.
