Being bore In USA

After a long time, today I am going to write here. I am being totally ideal these one and half months after arriving here from Belgium. No work, no where to go. These days, mostly, I am staying in home hanging with computers and watching television. Only good things I have done, I believe, in these days is, I have learnt Microsoft Access. This is the first time, I have been totally ideally for such a long time in my life as I ever remember.
I applied for admission in graduation in SDSU and nearly after 5 weeks my application has been accepted, however, they are saying I have to wait till summer semester to start school because of my status. I am living here with tourist visa and it will take arround 4 months to change the status to student, as the university people says. Moreover, they say till the status would change no one can start school.
I am alreay fedup with this ideal situation and if I have to stay another few months with out any work, I may become mad. I am being confused what to do. I may take risk to work some where with out any work permit.
