Rebuilding of Haiti

Yesterday, I wrote short intro about Haiti and latest apocalypse quake. Geophysicists, like Paul Mann and Eric Calais, are suggesting the disaster is not over in the region and warns another possible huge quake along the hundreds of Kilometer long fault line. They are studying several quake models. According to their preliminary findings, the recent quake has relieved stress along 80 KM fault segment only and remaining segment rebuilding greater strain. That means, any time sooner or later, the region will see another great quake same like recent quake of Haiti.

This situation suggests that rebuilding of Haiti and Port-au-Prince is very crucial. The government of Haiti and international communities who are involving in rebuilding of Haiti must design a master plan which complies quake resistant technologies, so rebuilt Haiti would be sustainable.

The rebuilding of the country is not easy because priorities for the moments should be given on humanitarian effort. Large segment of population needs basic necessities of life because already deprived population is in vain after the disaster. Although, if developed nations and good souls around the world work to rebuild the country nothing is impossible.
