About myself
My name is Devendra Dahal. I was born in Damak, a small city in Jhapa district of Nepal. I studied in different three schools of Damak from kindergarten to Secondary. First as a kindergarten I spent four years in a private school named Shidharth Shishu Sadan, later at the age of eight, I joined governmental school named Panini in class five till class seven and then I completed my SLC from Saraswati Secondary School. After SLC, I left my home and village and went to Ilam for higher education where I completed Certificate Level (which is equivalent to +2 level). From Ilam I went to Kathmandu for further education where I completed BA from R. R. Campus and MA in Geography from Central Department of Geography (CDG) of Trivuwan University and the year was 2001. I tried to pursue my career in Nepal till 2004, where I had worked in several institutions like, CDG for 2 years, than others 2 private organizations, I started self business (a computer, language training and tuition center), in partnership with friends. None of them goes well and finally I decided to go aboard. Luckily, I got the admission from Vrije University Brussels (VUB), Belgium in Masters of Human Ecology in 2004. I lived in Belgium three years and completed the study. Recently, last week, I came to United State of America. Now I am planning to start another Masters in Geography with GIS and Remote Sensing from South Dakota State University. I am interested to do this master because GIS and Remote Sensing is being important in job market and in this way I am always running here and there to make a career but still I haven't find the right way, where to go.
